Terms of Service

By accessing or using https://gameplayking.com (the "Site"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of them, please stop using the Site.

These terms should be read together with our Privacy Policy and our Disclaimer, which form part of this agreement.

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Site (16 in regions where that is the minimum age of digital consent). If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the Site only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.

GameplayKing publishes browser-based calculators, converters, planners and written guides for video games and gaming hardware — for example eDPI calculators, sensitivity converters, DPS and time-to-kill calculators, and monitor and mousepad tools.

Everything the tools produce is informational and advisory. They are mathematical models and starting points for your own testing, not official game data and not professional advice.

The Site is free to use. There is no registration, no subscription, no paywall and no premium tier. We do not process payments and we will never ask you for card details.

Because there is no account, there is nothing to cancel. If you want to stop using the Site, simply close the page; clearing your browser's site data removes anything a tool had saved locally.

You may use the Site for your own personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to:

• Scrape, crawl or bulk-download the Site at a rate that degrades it for other visitors, or use automated tools to harvest our content wholesale
• Republish our calculators, guides or data sets as your own, or mirror substantial parts of the Site on another domain
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Site, its hosting infrastructure or any connected system
• Interfere with the Site's operation, including by introducing malware or attempting a denial-of-service attack
• Remove, obscure, or artificially interact with advertisements, including generating clicks or impressions you did not genuinely intend
• Use the Site in a way that breaks any applicable law, or that infringes anyone else's rights
• Frame or embed the Site in a way that misrepresents it as your own product

The Site's design, source code, written guides, original diagrams, the GameplayKing name and the GameplayKing logo are owned by us or licensed to us, and are protected by copyright and trademark law.

You may quote short extracts of our written content for review, commentary, teaching or news reporting, with attribution and a link. Anything beyond that — reproducing a full guide, rebuilding a calculator from our code, or using our branding — needs our written permission first. Email contact@gameplayking.com and we will usually say yes.

All game titles, character names, logos, icons and other game assets referenced on this Site are the property of their respective owners and publishers. We use them descriptively, to identify which game a tool is for.

GameplayKing is an independent fan project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed, sponsored or approved by any game publisher or developer, including but not limited to Riot Games, Valve, Blizzard Entertainment, Electronic Arts, Respawn Entertainment, Epic Games, Activision, Gaijin Entertainment, Garena and Team Cherry.

If you own rights in material used on this Site and believe it has been used improperly, contact us at contact@gameplayking.com and we will review and act promptly.

The Site has no comments, forums or user profiles, so there is no user-generated content to moderate. If you email us a bug report, a feature request or feedback, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use that feedback to improve the Site, without obligation to compensate you.

Please do not send us confidential information or anything you are not free to share. We treat correspondence as described in our Privacy Policy.

The Site is funded by third-party advertising, currently served through Google AdSense. Ads are clearly distinguishable from our editorial content and do not influence what our calculators output or what our guides recommend.

We do not control which specific ads are shown, and we do not endorse advertised products or services. Any transaction you enter into with an advertiser is between you and them. How advertising cookies work, and how to opt out of personalised ads, is explained in our Privacy Policy.

We may add, change, suspend or remove any tool, guide or feature at any time, without notice. A calculator that exists today may be retired if the game it models is no longer supported.

We may also revise these terms. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the current version, and material changes will be signposted on the Site. Continuing to use the Site after a revision takes effect means you accept it.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GameplayKing and anyone involved in producing the Site will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, ranking, in-game progress or goodwill, arising out of your use of — or inability to use — the Site, even if we were told such damages were possible.

Where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, our total aggregate liability to you is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us to use the Site, which is zero, or (b) USD 100.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot be excluded under applicable law. If you are a consumer, you keep all the statutory rights your local law gives you.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Chile, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and the courts of Santiago, Chile have non-exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.

If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of your country of residence, or of your right to bring proceedings there.

Before starting formal proceedings, please email us — most issues are a misunderstanding and can be resolved in a couple of messages.

• Entire agreement. These terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Disclaimer, are the whole agreement between us about the Site.
• Severability. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest stays in force and the unenforceable part is read as narrowly as needed to make it valid.
• No waiver. If we do not enforce a provision straight away, we have not given up the right to enforce it later.
• Assignment. You may not transfer your rights under these terms. We may transfer ours if the Site changes hands.
• No partnership. Nothing here creates an agency, partnership or employment relationship between us.
